How do I schedule an appointment for my child?

You can schedule an appointment by calling our office at 515-222-1800. Our friendly staff will assist you in finding a convenient time for your visit.

What types of services does Jordan Creek Pediatric Dentistry offer?

We provide a wide range of pediatric dental services, including routine checkups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, in office nitrous, restorative, oral surgery that includes simple, complex, and orthodontic extractions, orthodontic evaluations and Hospital dentistry with the adjunct of general anesthesia.

How long will the first appointment take?

The first appointment usually takes about 30-45 minutes. This includes time for a dental examination, cleaning (if appropriate), and a consultation where we discuss your child’s dental health and any concerns you may have.

What age should my child first visit the dentist?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit a dentist by their first birthday or within six months after their first tooth appears.

Can I stay with my child during their appointment?

Absolutely! We encourage parents to stay with their children during the initial examination to help them feel more comfortable and to discuss any concerns with the dentist. If you prefer to stay in the waiting room to enjoy the ambience  and coffee, feel free to do so as we will come out to discuss any concerns following the appointment.
